Warranty Terms
Each product line carries its own warranty policy; SAJA and BLU+ terms are not the same. Current BLU+ and SAJA warranty terms are published below.
NG TRADE Limited Warranty Statement. Applies to BLU+ Eco Series, BLU+ Star Series, Multi Zone BLU+ Eco Series, and EZ Central air handler and outdoor units. NG TRADE LLC warrants this product against failure due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance, as set out below.
Coverage
- Without registration (Initial Term): up to 6 years on the compressor, 3 years on parts, and 90 days on the remote control provided with the original unit.
- With registration within 60 days of installation (Registered Additional Term): up to 8 years total on the compressor and 5 years total on parts, for as long as the original registered owner or their spouse owns and lives in the home where the unit was originally installed.
Registration is not required for base coverage, but it is strongly encouraged because the additional term is available only to registered owners. Register within 60 days of installation through the registration form on this site.
Conditions
- Valid only when the system is installed by a licensed or state certified HVAC contractor, in accordance with applicable local and state codes and permits, NG TRADE installation and operation instructions, and good trade practices.
- All warranty periods begin on the date of original installation. If that date cannot be verified, the period begins 60 days from the date of purchase.
- Coverage applies only to products remaining in their original installation location, and does not continue after the unit is removed.
- Replacing a part does not extend the warranty period. A replacement part is warranted only for the time remaining in the original period.
- NG TRADE may, at its option, request a report from a qualified technician before honoring a claim.
- Defective parts must be returned to the distributor through a registered servicing dealer for credit.
What this warranty does not cover
- Labor or other costs for diagnosing, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, servicing, or handling defective parts, replacement parts, or new units.
- Product cleaning required prior to warranty service and repair.
- Normal maintenance as outlined in the instructions or Owner's Manual, including filter cleaning or replacement and lubrication.
- Failure, damage, or repairs due to faulty installation, misapplication, abuse, improper servicing, unauthorized alteration, or improper operation.
- Failure to start due to voltage conditions, blown fuses, open circuit breakers, or the inadequacy or interruption of electrical service.
- Failure or damage due to floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive environments, or other conditions beyond the Company's control.
- Corrosion of coils or piping on installations within one mile of a seacoast or corrosive body.
- Parts not supplied or designated by the Company, or damage resulting from their use.
- Products installed outside the continental USA and Canada.
- Electricity or fuel costs, or any increase in them, including from supplemental electric heat.
- Any cost to replace, refill, or dispose of refrigerant, including the cost of the refrigerant.
- Shipping damage or damage from transporting the unit.
- Accessories such as condensate pumps and line sets.
- Any special, indirect, or consequential damage of any nature.
Limitations
All implied warranties or conditions, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use or purpose, are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above may not apply to you. The express warranties made here are exclusive and may not be altered, enlarged, or changed by any distributor, dealer, or other person. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province.
