- Always make sure indoor unit has a factory dry nitrogen holding charge prior to installation.
- Refrigerant line set minimum length: 10 ft required
- Refrigerant line set maximum length: Refer to indoor and outdoor unit factory installation instructions.
- Additional refrigerant charge: Refer to outdoor unit factory installation instructions.
- Always use a torque wrench to tighten flare fittings to factory torque specs.
- Always refer to factory installation instructions for outdoor to indoor interconnecting cable
- Always use dry nitrogen to pressure test to 500 psi.
- Always soap bubble flare fittings after pressurizing system.
- Always pull vacuum to 500 microns and confirm that it holds.
- Always install a surge protector at the power supply of the system.
- Always test condensate drain before initial system startup.
- Always test system operation in heating and cooling (test zones individually for Multi-Zone systems).
